Hachi: A Dog's Tale is a 2009 drama film based on the true story of a faithful Akita Inu, the titular Hachikō. It is a remake of the 1987 film Hachi-kō (ハチ公物語, literally "The Tale of Hachiko"). The movie is about a dog that is lost somewhere in the streets where a person finds him and takes him home to himself. He is cold and needs comfort and the new owner provides him with what the dog needs as best as he can, he and his family. He investigates to see where the dog is from and becomes astonished. They become good friends and everytime he is to go to work the dog follows after him. Every day he follows him to the train station where he is going in the mornings. Until one day, the dog senses something and barks. The owner thinks nothing of it and leaves as usual for work. Some say dogs are mans best friends, well, this movie shows it!
